That’s why we offer world-class training and education that delivers the skills needed for the jobs of today and tomorrow.

Life-changing impact starts with an incredible team that sees their career as an opportunity to transform someone’s world. Whether that’s inspiring students, supporting each other, or helping our communities and industries flourish.

We live by TAFE NSW values: Customer Focus, Integrity, Collaboration, and Excellence. They define who we are, how we work, and inspire our performance.

At TAFE NSW, you will discover a diverse, dynamic, and collaborative environment, where you can innovate, create value, and do meaningful work.

We provide you with tools, ongoing training and professional development, health and wellbeing programs, and a 35-hour working week with a variety of flexible working options.

About the role

As the Portfolio Reporting Lead, you will play a critical role in providing visibility and oversight of TAFE NSW's diverse and complex project portfolio. This is a temporary full-time opportunity. You will lead the consolidation, analysis and reporting of project performance information across the organisation, delivering high-quality insights that support executive decision-making on investment priorities, resource allocation, schedules, budgets and benefits realisation. Working closely with project and program stakeholders, you will drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, develop meaningful dashboards and performance reporting, identify portfolio trends and risks, and ensure data integrity across enterprise project reporting. You will also help support stakeholders in the use of the Project Portfolio Management (PPM OnePlan tool).

You are an experienced project, program or portfolio professional with demonstrated experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) or Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) environment.

You have a strong understanding of project portfolio management principles. You can analyse and interpret complex project data, translating it into clear and meaningful insights that support informed decision-making.

You bring strong Power BI and reporting experience, with the capability to develop dashboards, portfolio reports and performance metrics that provide visibility across large and complex project portfolios. Your analytical mindset, attention to detail and commitment to data quality enable you to identify trends, risks and opportunities, while your stakeholder engagement skills allow you to build effective relationships and communicate insights with confidence at all levels of the organisation. Experience with OnePlan would also be beneficial.

You are proactive, solutions-focused and thrive in a dynamic environment where reporting, governance and continuous improvement are key to delivering successful portfolio outcomes.
