With ComForCare, clients can live independently and continue to do the things they love. As a Registered Nurse at ComForCare, you will conduct thorough in-home client assessments, develop personalized care plans, orient caregivers to each client’s needs, and help clients transition safely home from the hospital or other care settings.

Why Join ComForCare:

  • Treated with respect and dignity
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Flexible scheduling, ideal for nurses seeking supplemental work
Make an Impact:
Backed by a national brand with 30 years in the industry, ComForCare Home Care of Truckee Meadows is locally owned and operated by a licensed speech-language pathologist with a background in neurological rehabilitation. You’ll work alongside clinically minded leadership that understands the value of thorough assessments and thoughtful care planning. Make a meaningful difference by ensuring clients receive personalized care plans that help them live safely and independently at home.

What we are looking for:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

What you will be doing:

  • Monitoring client progress, adjust care plans as needed, and communicate updates to physicians and care team members
Compensation:
This is a flexible, pay-per-visit position: you’re paid a flat rate for each completed visit, plus mileage, rather than an hourly wage.

  • $150 per in-home assessment (includes care plan and caregiver orientation)
  • $200 when a hospital or facility discharge meeting is included
  • $100 per combined reassessment and supervisory visit
  • Mileage reimbursed beyond 20 miles round trip
