Procurement Specialist

Working closely with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain partners, you will play a key role in balancing business priorities while maintaining strong supplier relationships and driving continuous improvement.

In this leadership role, you will oversee a small procurement team, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities while remaining actively involved in strategic sourcing and supplier management activities. • Manage procurement activities for direct materials, components, and manufacturing-related services.
• Utilize SAP to support purchasing, supplier management, and procurement reporting activities.
• Drive supplier performance improvements related to quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost.
• Lead sourcing initiatives, negotiations, and contract discussions to maximize value and reduce risk.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Analyze procurement and supplier data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using SAP to manage procurement and purchasing processes.
• Previous leadership experience with direct responsibility for 2-3 or more team members.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
