NDN-Transportation Coordinator II

• Must understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment

• Contribute to the accomplishment of key performance indicators

• Communicate and work closely with other departments to resolve order release issues, expedite rush orders, etc.

• Assign and monitor operations activities including staging, wave times and pick assignments for various outbound associates.

• Work with CSRs to resolve issues concerning short allocations and wave planning.

• Participate in projects affecting wave planning

• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels

• Identifies and resolves issues while reducing the potential for negative impact 

• Clearly understands and communicates information effectively, while adjusting to the audience, by acknowledging, restating and painting a picture that goes beyond the customer need

• Cross-train to become knowledgeable so as to provide assistance when required due to vacations, absences and fluctuations in the workload

• Maintains an attitude which consistently represents the organizational culture, including: the mission, vision and core attributes

• Able to operate with minimal supervision, self-managed to complete task at hand and proactively pursue other work as tasks are completed

• Supports “Lean Business Enterprise” initiatives for continuous process improvement and waste elimination. 

• Wave orders as needed to fill Poplar Bluffs distribution capacity

Position Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Must have spirit of cooperation, coordination and communication.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.

Requirements:

• No attendance, performance or safety counseling in past 6 months.
• High School or equivalent.
• Must make passing score on Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet Test.
• Must make a passing score on a basic math test.
• Being a detail minded person with good customer service and telephone skills.
