Support the Lean team in identifying and implementing process improvements to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity. The intern will gain hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, process analysis, time study, waste identification, and continuous improvement activities within the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

→Observe shop-floor processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
→Develop and propose improvement ideas/projects to improve productivity, quality, safety, or process flow.
→Support the execution and follow-up of improvement projects.
→Conduct data collection, basic analysis, and time studies to support improvement initiatives.
→Help identify waste and inefficiencies using Lean principles.
→Assist with Lean activities such as 5S, Visual Management, and Kaizen.
→Prepare reports, charts, and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.
→Document improvement projects, track progress, and summarize results.
→Work with operators, supervisors, engineers, and other team members to support continuous improvement activities.
→Perform other Lean / Continuous Improvement tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Active undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Strong interest in Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Available to do fulltime internship minimum 6-month internship.
Willing to be based in Bandung for the duration of the internship.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing / shop-floor environment.
Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Nice to Have

Basic understanding of Lean concepts such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and 7 Wastes.
a student who enjoys observing processes, identifying problems, and turning ideas into practical improvement projects
Basic CAD knowledge is a plus
