Staff Cost Accountant

• →Prepare and book journal entries as part of the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with GAAP and company policy.
• →Prepare monthly inventory reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies between physical counts, system records, and general ledger balances.
• →Prepare the excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory analysis template, evaluating inventory aging and recommending reserve adjustments.
• →Review and close completed manufacturing work orders, ensuring costs are properly relieved and variances are analyzed and recorded.
• →Schedule and facilitate recurring review meetings with relevant stakeholders (e.g., operations, supply chain, finance) to discuss inventory, cost variances, and close-related items.
• →Support other month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities as needed.
• →Assist with internal and external audit requests related to cost accounting and inventory.
• →Identify opportunities to improve cost accounting processes and internal controls.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or cost accounting environment.
• Working knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, and month-end close processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Oracle ERP experience required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple deadlines.

Compensation

The salary for this role will range from 62,400.00 - 93,300.00 USD  annual based on full-time employment. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to location, relevant skills, training, experience, education, etc.

Certain roles may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives. Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
