Tag, price, and stock merchandise; replenish the sales floor and maintain organized backstock and storage areas.
Create, modify, and refresh product displays in alignment with the store’s brand, merchandising standards, seasonal needs, and promotions.
Coordinate and perform month-end physical inventory counts, recount discrepancies, reconcile findings with system records, and submit any inventory adjustments for required management approval.
Run month-end inventory reports and provide accurate inventory results and supporting records to management by established deadlines.
Run and review other inventory reports, including stock on hand, low stock, sales by item, slow-moving merchandise, inventory variances, and open purchase orders; communicate findings and replenishment recommendations.
Maintain neatness, cleanliness, and organization throughout the store, checkout station, and all storage areas, including outdoor storage or containers where applicable.
Follow merchandise shipping and interdepartmental transfer procedures; record stock movements accurately and communicate special requests and orders to the supervisor and team.
Occasionally serve as a store ambassador at special events by welcoming guests, presenting merchandise, supporting event displays, and assisting with sales and event setup or breakdown.
Assist with training new or other employees on guest service, store procedures, merchandising, and inventory tasks as assigned.
