Patient Care Technician Critical Care

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

2. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.

1. One of the following pathways:

• Graduate of a nurse assistant or patient care technician training program
• Completion of hospital based Patient Care Technician program within 30 days of hire
• Current Nursing Student
• Six (6) months of patient care tech experience

1. Ability to effectively communicate with staff and patients.

2. Ability to adapt to changing environments.
