BI Developer, Clinical Data - Business Optimization Strategist (Home Based)

1. Master’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or Hospital Administration, OR 4 years of data analytics experience required.

2. This position will require an EPIC official designation of “Proficient” within the new hire probationary period.

4. Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL/Oracle) and/or Business Objects.

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using development best practices like version control, performance tuning, and reusable design patterns.
• Write and optimize complex DAX, including time intelligence, calculation groups, and filter context manipulation, to deliver accurate, fast metrics.
• Design semantic models in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric so business logic and metrics stay consistent and reusable across reports and workspaces.
• Apply data governance practices such as row-level security, data classification, and access controls to keep data secure, accurate, and compliant.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and views that support efficient data extraction and transformation for reporting.
• Translate business requirements into clear dashboards and visualizations that help teams across the organization make informed decisions.
