Temporary Front Desk Associate (3-Week Assignment)

Active Kare Physical Therapy is a highly rated outpatient physical therapy clinic that has served Sterling Heights since 2018. We are a small, steady team, and our culture is built on dependability, strong work ethic, and genuine care for every patient.

We are looking for a dependable, personable front desk team member for a three-week assignment. You will run the front desk — check-in, scheduling and phones — and between patient arrivals, assist our clinicians on the treatment floor and help keep the clinic clean and ready. Medical office or clinic experience is helpful but not required; a paid training shift before your first day covers our systems and routine.

• →Check patients in and out and collect copays
• →Schedule, reschedule and confirm appointments
• →Answer phones and route calls and messages
• →Enter new-patient intake and insurance information accurately
• →Keep the front office and waiting area organized
• →Set up treatment areas and equipment, and clean and reset them between patients
• →Assist clinicians with patients during exercise sessions, as directed
• →Prepare hot and cold packs and other supplies for the clinician
• →Restock supplies and keep the gym clean and organized

• Is available for the full assignment, Oct 29 – Nov 19, plus one training shift beforehand
• Is punctual and dependable
• Is comfortable on the phone and computer, and careful with patient details
• Stays calm and courteous during busy periods, and is comfortable on their feet moving between the desk and the treatment floor
• Has front desk, medical office or customer service experience (preferred)
