Research Fellow (Human Factors / Human-Computer Interaction / Engineering / Computer Science)

ATMRI at NTU is seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to conduct research in Human Factors, Human-AI Teaming, and Human-Centred AI for next-generation Digital Air Traffic Controller (ATCO) Assistant systems.

• →Ph.D. in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• →Experience in Human-AI Teaming, Human-Automation Interaction, or Human-Centred AI, preferably in safety-critical systems.
• →Proven ability to design and conduct Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) experiments, usability studies, and human factors evaluations.
• →Strong analytical and data analysis skills, with experience in experimental design and statistical analysis tools.
• →Proven track record of high-quality publications in reputable venues.
• →Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams and engage with external and international stakeholders.
• →Prior experience in Air Traffic Management (ATM), Air Traffic Control (ATC), or aviation is an advantage.
