Lead Software Engineer

The core development team will assist the Bernstein developers’ teams to migrate their applications from AB to SG, until the end of the project at the end of 2026.

·        Refactor existing applications to leverage cloud services: containerization, object storage, REST APIs, OAuth2 authentication…

·        Implement CI/CD pipelines for .NET, Node, and Python applications (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

·        Implement Zero Trust in existing applications

·        Remediate vulnerabilities

·        Implement high availability for critical applications (active/active or active/passive architectures)

·        Implement scheduling jobs (Airflow, Control-M)

·        Work closely with developers, architects, devops engineers, and platform engineering teams to integrate the applications with internal developer platform (API catalog, data lake, BI tools, monitoring, authentication)

·        Share technical knowledge and best practices. Deliver reusable artifacts whenever possible (documentation, templates, modules…)

·        10 or more years’ experience building C# applications

·        Good experience when dealing with infrastructure related technologies:

o   Operating systems: Windows, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes

o   Scripting technologies: Windows CMD, Linux Bash, PowerShell,

o   Network: TCP/IP protocol, diagnostic tools (curl, ping, nslookup ...)

o   Security: SSL certificates management, secret management, vault usage ...

·        Strong expertise in C#, SQL Server, and React application development

·        Strong expertise in refactoring existing applications to leverage cloud services

·        Experience with Microsoft Azure, especially migrating existing applications to cloud

·        Expertise in implementing Azure services like AKS, SQL Database, Azure Storage, KeyVault, Service Bus, Monitoring

·        Expertise in implementing event-driven architectures (RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, Service Bus)

·        Strong knowledge of CI/CD solutions, especially GitHub, Jenkins, JFrog, ArgoCD, Sonar

·        Knowledge of observability solutions, especially the Elastic Stack

·        Experience in building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, JFrog, Harbor) for .NET, Python, Node applications

·        Familiar with security best practices (secure by design, zero trust, secret management…)

·        Self-starter, proactive and works well with diverse groups.

·        Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.

·        Ability to work in Agile environment

·        Financial Services experience is a plus.

·        Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-400…) are a plus.
