The Climate Transformation Programme (CTP) is spearheaded by the Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS). It aims to develop, inspire and accelerate knowledge-based solutions and educate future leaders to establish the stable climate and environment necessary for resilient, just, and sustainable Southeast Asian societies.

The Climate Transformation Programme–Sustainable Societies Cluster works collaboratively across the CTP themes from Climate and Biodiversity, Mitigation, to Climate Processes and Extremes, to develop a suite of programmes that form a synergistic relay of interdisciplinary research and external outreach. The initiatives aim to cultivate a critical multiplicity of voices, perspectives, and knowledges from both within and outside academic realms in the formation of ‘Sustainable Societies’ that engage with questions of climate change.

The position supports the Sustainable Societies (Arts Sub-Group) Cross-Cutting Cluster under the MOE Tier 3c Climate Transformation Programme (CTP). The CTP is spearheaded by the Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS). The Sustainable Societies (Arts Sub-Group) Cluster is co-led by Principal Investigator (PI) Professor Laura Miotto. Under the supervision of Professor Miotto, the position serves as a key contact in coordinating projects and initiatives led by the cluster, from the administration and preparation of materials for reporting to the coordination of internal and external stakeholders. The role will assist in general administration and coordinate with various NTU departments as required, from the Finance department to the Administrative Office of EOS. The role will also contribute to content development and the organization of research and educational public programmes such as the Climate Transformation: Sustainable Societies Lecture Series and adjacent gatherings.

This position is for an 8-month contract. The candidate will be based at the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore at Gillman Barracks.
