Take ownership of a critical billing function within a sophisticated Salesforce ecosystem, helping ensure accurate invoicing, reliable financial data, and seamless quote-to-cash operations. In this role, you will serve as the primary expert in Salesforce Billing, working closely with Finance, Revenue Accounting, and Sales Operations to optimise processes and resolve complex system issues. You will manage billing configurations, troubleshoot integrations with ERP platforms, and support financial reporting and period-end close activities. Beyond billing, you will contribute to Salesforce CPQ administration and broader system improvements across the revenue lifecycle. Working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, you will have the opportunity to influence operational efficiency, strengthen data integrity, and improve the reliability of essential business systems. This position is ideal for an experienced Salesforce administrator with strong technical expertise, sound financial process knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Salesforce Billing ownership: Manage and optimise Salesforce Billing, including invoice generation and scheduling, invoice runs, credit and debit notes, payment processing and allocation, refunds, and revenue schedules.
  • Billing configuration and troubleshooting: Configure and maintain billing rules, tax rules, revenue recognition rules, finance books, finance periods, and legal entities. Investigate billing discrepancies and resolve issues at their source.
  • Billing operations: Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled billing and payment jobs, failed invoice runs, unbilled order products, and proration or co-term discrepancies to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Financial reconciliation: Own billing reconciliation between Salesforce and NetSuite, investigating integration failures, mismatched amounts, duplicate records, and missing or incorrectly linked transactions in collaboration with Finance.
  • Financial close and compliance: Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including period locks, cutoff issues, aging and deferred revenue reporting, audit requests, and internal financial controls.
  • Salesforce CPQ administration: Maintain Salesforce CPQ configurations, including products, price books, price rules, product rules, discount schedules, quote templates, and Advanced Approvals.
  • Quote-to-cash lifecycle support: Manage and troubleshoot amendments, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations, ensuring accurate downstream updates to orders, contracts, subscriptions, invoices, and payments.
  • End-to-end issue resolution: Trace defects across the quote-to-cash process to identify root causes and implement reliable solutions while protecting data integrity.
  • Core Salesforce administration: Manage users, licenses, profiles, permission sets, validation rules, Flows, reports, dashboards, and managed packages across Sales Cloud and Revenue Cloud.
  • System maintenance and change management: Conduct internal system audits, prepare for Salesforce seasonal releases and managed package upgrades, and evaluate the impact of changes on CPQ and Billing functionality.
  • Development coordination and testing: Assess new development requests, estimate effort, analyse potential impacts, perform thorough sandbox testing, and follow established deployment and change management procedures.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Finance, Revenue Accounting, Sales Operations, and other stakeholders to prioritise requests, improve administrative processes, and deliver scalable system enhancements.
