Credentialing & Compliance Specialist

Abound Health is seeking a Credentialing & Compliance Specialist AKA Personnel Records Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will report to the Manager, Personnel Records Specialists. You will play a critical role in ensuring employee records, certifications, and training requirements remain accurate, current, and compliant with Medicaid, state, and organizational standards. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting employees while helping maintain compliance across a growing healthcare organization.

• →Review personnel records to ensure compliance with organizational, Medicaid, and regulatory requirements.
• →Collect, review, upload, and maintain employee certifications, credentials, and required documentation.
• →Proactively communicate with employees regarding upcoming and overdue personnel record requirements.
• →Partner with Recruiting, Clinical, and Operations teams to resolve compliance concerns and maintain audit readiness.
• →Coordinate employee training and provide support related to learning management systems and certification requirements.
• →Assist employees with questions related to personnel records, training, and compliance documentation.
• →Maintain the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of employee records at all times.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build positive working relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other office management software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in healthcare, human services, behavioral health, personnel records, compliance, or credentialing is preferred.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or related coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.
