JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-MD-3505869 Profession: Physician Specialty: Hematology & Oncology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Greensboro, NC Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Jan 18, 2027 – Sep 13, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8A – 5P On-Call Shift Schedule: 24-hour Call, Night Call (as needed, shared among 9 providers) Call Type: 24-Hour Call, Night Call Call Ratio: 1:9 Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Travel covered by client PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Patient Volume/Census: 15-18 patients per day (1-2 new, 2 benign hematology) Case Mix: Prostate, kidney, bladder, benign hematology FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Support Staff Available: APPs, Pharmacist, Nurses PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 60 – 90 days JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active NC license, Universal License (IMLC) Board: BC/BE in Hematology Oncology DEA: Yes Experience: Minimum 2 years Other Qualifications: CSR required, Clean background required DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide outpatient medical oncology and hematology services. Manage a patient volume of 15-18 patients per day, including new consultations and follow-ups. Focus on prostate, kidney, bladder, and benign hematology cases. Participate in a shared call rotation (24-hour and night call) with 9 other providers. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including APPs, pharmacists, and nurses.
