The Digital Technology Supply Chain Leader is responsible to drive IT strategy and execution for the Supply Chain function across the Wind segment, covering nacelles, towers, and blades. This role is the critical bridge between business operations and technology, responsible for deploying, evolving, and maximizing value from digital solutions that support and transform global Supply Chain operations.
The Wind DT Supply Chain Leader will own the technology roadmap for Sourcing, Logistics, and broader Supply Chain systems, ensuring our digital capabilities keep pace with business growth and global expansion. A key element of this role is leveraging (gen)AI solutions to accelerate the transformation of the Supply Chain organization — driving efficiency, insight, and innovation across all Supply Chain functions.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide strategic and execution leadership across the Wind segment to deploy and evolve digital tools for Supply Chain, sustaining business operations and supporting the global expansion of the Wind business.
  • Develop and implement Sourcing, Procurement, Logistics, and other Supply Chain systems to drive efficiency and operational excellence across the organization.
  • Lead with a data-centric approach and deliver analytics solutions to accelerate time-to-insight for Supply Chain stakeholders, enabling faster and better decision-making.
  • Identify, pilot, and implement (gen)AI solutions to transform Supply Chain processes — including tendering, supplier risk assessment, procurement, logistics optimization, and intelligent automation of manual workflows.
  • Ensure excellent product management of existing IT solutions and drive continuous tool evolutions for the function to maximize business value.
  • Partner with Business functional stakeholders, GEV DT, and Vendor Partners to drive the right priorities at agreed timelines, ensuring alignment between technology investments and business outcomes.
  • Establish a culture of innovation, high-performance, collaboration, respect, and integrity. Positively and collaboratively lead the business and the team through change and digital transformation.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Significant experience in IT/Digital Technology leadership roles within Supply Chain in global industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing IT strategy for Supply Chain functions including Sourcing, Logistics, Procurement, and Planning.
  • Hands-on experience with (gen)AI solutions — including identifying use cases, piloting, and scaling AI-driven capabilities within Supply Chain or related domains.
  • Strong experience managing IT product portfolios and driving application delivery across multiple functions, business units, and geographies.
  • Deep understanding of Supply Chain processes and how digital technology can be leveraged to drive transformation, efficiency, and competitive advantage.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle EBS preferred), supply chain planning tools, and analytics platforms in complex, multi-site industrial organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior business stakeholders and translate business needs into effective technology solutions and roadmaps.
  • Strong program and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization, from shop floor to executive leadership.

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS

  • High energy, self-motivated leader passionate about leveraging technology and (gen)AI to drive Supply Chain transformation and operational excellence.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, results-oriented mindset.
  • Lean understanding and mindset with experience applying continuous improvement principles to technology delivery and Supply Chain operations.
  • Curiosity and drive to explore emerging technologies — particularly generative AI, advanced analytics, and intelligent automation — and apply them to real-world Supply Chain challenges.
  • Collaborative leader, able to build strong relationships across engineering, operations, and business functions in a global, diverse organization.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams with a focus on talent growth, accountability, and a culture of innovation.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving change in a fast-paced, matrixed, global industrial environment.
