Liquid Personnel is recruiting a experienced Children's Occupational Therapist for its client to join Westminster City Council's Bi-Borough Disabled Children's Service.

This is an excellent opportunity to support children and young people with disabilities and complex needs, helping them achieve greater independence, improve their daily functioning and enhance their quality of life.

You will deliver specialist, community-based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions, working closely with children, families, carers and multidisciplinary professionals across home, school and community settings.

Responsibilities

→BSc or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
→Current HCPC registration.
→Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience.
→At least one year's paediatric Occupational Therapy experience or relevant community-based experience.
→Experience working with children with complex disabilities and associated needs.
→Knowledge of Occupational Therapy assessment, intervention planning, review and discharge.
→Understanding of safeguarding, child protection and risk assessment procedures.
→Experience assessing and recommending specialist equipment and housing adaptations.
→Strong communication, report-writing and clinical documentation skills.
→Ability to work autonomously and effectively within multidisciplinary and multi-agency teams.
→Commitment to person-centred practice, equality, diversity and continuing professional development.

Experience contributing to Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans.
Knowledge of Mosaic or similar local authority case management systems.
Experience working within Children's Social Care or a local authority setting.
Experience supporting Occupational Therapy students, apprentices or junior colleagues.
