For our people—Kyndryls—that means doing purposeful work that powers human progress. Join us and experience a flexible, supportive environment where your well-being is prioritized and your potential can thrive.

As a Team Leader, HR Operations (EMEA), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the newly designed Tier 1 operating model within our EMEA HR Services organisation. Following the strategic transformation and upcoming split of the current Tier 1 team into two dedicated operational teams, this role provides a unique opportunity to build, lead, and mature one of the new sub‑teams, ensuring a high‑quality, scalable HR service delivery model.

In this position, you will lead a team of HR Operations Specialists who provide day‑to‑day support across a wide range of HR processes. You will drive operational excellence through reliable service delivery, strong team leadership, and a clear focus on quality, standardisation, and continuous improvement. With responsibility for workflow oversight, issue resolution, performance support, and coaching, you will foster an environment where employees feel supported, empowered, and able to grow.

A core responsibility of the role is to build strong and sustainable process foundations. You will create and maintain comprehensive, version‑controlled process documentation (SOPs, DTPs), ensuring clarity, consistency, and audit readiness. You will also take ownership of the service catalogue for your team, defining scope, service levels, responsibilities, and hand‑offs. This includes designing and maintaining a robust backup and coverage model to remove operational risk and ensure business continuity.

You will play a key role in harmonising processes across EMEA, reducing unnecessary country‑specific differences while ensuring compliance with local requirements. With a “global by default, local by exception” mindset, you will work closely with your Senior Manager, your Team Leader peer, local HRBPs, and functional partners to align workflows, remove inefficiencies, and implement standardised solutions across countries.

Automation, simplification, and digitalisation will be central to your work. Partnering with HRIT, Workday teams, and cross‑functional HR Services groups, you will help identify opportunities to move manual tasks into Workday, improve routing accuracy, enable configuration-driven controls, and streamline HR case handling. You will support the planning and implementation of system changes, ensuring your team is trained and documentation is updated.

This role requires strong cross‑team and cross‑region collaboration. You will work closely not only with your peers within EMEA HR Services—such as Payroll Operations, Mobility/Immigration, Data Privacy, H&S, and specialised T2/T3 teams—but also with representatives in other regions (AMER and APAC). By sharing best practices, aligning global processes, and contributing to design discussions, you will help strengthen Kyndryl’s global HR operations model.

Building strong partnerships with local HRBPs is essential, as they are key customers and stakeholders. You will ensure clear communication, transparent issue handling, and proactive identification of friction points or opportunities for simplification. Through regular connects, you will build trust and demonstrate the value your team delivers.

As a leader, you will be expected to model empathy, inclusivity, and accountability. You will coach your team through change, provide regular feedback, support capability development, and cultivate a positive work environment. You will help colleagues navigate ambiguity and ensure the team remains engaged, supported, and aligned with the wider EMEA HR Services vision.

This role is both operational and transformational, offering the opportunity to influence how HR services are delivered in the region. You will contribute to cross-country improvement projects, participate in transformation activities, and support the implementation of new processes, tools, and policies. You will also play a role in risk mitigation, data privacy adherence, and operational quality assurance by identifying risks, capturing trends, and leading remediation actions.

If you are passionate about leading teams, strengthening HR operations, shaping scalable service delivery models, and collaborating across borders to build a modern, efficient HR function, this role offers a meaningful and exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact within our organisation.

You’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important – you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. You are customer-focused – someone who prioritizes customer success in their work. And finally, you’re open and borderless – naturally inclusive in how you work with others.
