Physical Education (PE) Teacher

We are looking for a Physical Education (PE) Teacher for an international school in Chengdu. This position is available from July 2027 for the 2027–28 academic year

Job Responsibilities

• Teach physical education to secondary school students, developing physical fitness, sporting skills and teamwork
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that encourage participation and accommodate different abilities
• Promote safe exercise practices, sportsmanship and healthy lifestyles
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the physical education curriculum
• Assess students’ progress, set development targets and write student reports
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment during physical activities

• Bachelor’s degree in physical education or a related subject
• At least two years of experience as a lead classroom teacher
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working in a bilingual setting preferred
