JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: H-MD-134068 Profession: Physician Specialty: Neurology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Charleston, South Carolina Coverage Period: Nov 02, 2026 – Nov 09, 2026 Shift Schedule: 24-hour shifts Reason for Coverage: Backfill FTE Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 18 EEG interpretations per day; 4-6 epilepsy patients per week Case Mix: Pediatric epilepsy, EEG interpretation FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic REQUIRED PROCEDURES EEG interpretation Epilepsy monitoring unit patient management JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE in Neurology (ABPN) Licenses: Active South Carolina medical license required Experience: Experience in pediatric epilepsy and EEG interpretation required DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide 24-hour coverage for inpatient pediatric epilepsy service. Manage patients in epilepsy monitoring unit (average 4-6 per week). Interpret inpatient and outpatient EEGs (average 8 inpatient and 10 outpatient per day). Be on site during day shift and available for call nightly. Complete hospital modules and EPIC personalization.
