The Team
VMC is a 24/7 hospital supported by emergency veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians, and skilled veterinary assistants. Client service representatives are in the hospital 24 hours a day.
We value technicians as an essential part of the medical team and believe great emergency medicine depends on collaboration, mutual respect, and the ability to rely on one another. Our doctors work alongside experienced support staff who play an active role in patient treatment and critical care. We encourage our team members to work at the full extent of their training and licensure, allowing veterinarians to focus on the medical decisions and complex cases that require their expertise. Emergency medicine is challenging by nature, and we believe a strong, supportive team makes all the difference.
We fiercely protect our culture.
Emergency medicine is demanding. We believe the answer is creating a team where people can rely on one another.
That means accountability, teamwork, communication, continued growth, and mutual respect. We expect people to contribute to the team, and we expect the team to support the people in it.
We also believe strongly in work-life harmony. Our ER doctor schedule is built collaboratively as a group, allowing us to maximize flexibility while making sure the hospital and our patients are cared for.
