Industrial Hygiene Technician

• →Conduct industrial hygiene sampling for noise, dust, gases, and other workplace exposure agents.
• →Set up, calibrate, and maintain industrial hygiene sampling equipment.
• →Perform pre- and post-calibration of monitoring equipment while maintaining calibration records.
• →Utilize dosimeter software to configure and calibrate noise monitoring equipment.
• →Enter and maintain sampling data within Cority and other required databases.
• →Upload laboratory requisitions, exposure results, and related documentation accurately.
• →Coordinate sampling schedules and communicate with site personnel regarding monitoring activities.
• →Manage inventory of sampling media, equipment, and supplies.
• →Support gas detection systems, monitor equipment inventory, and maintain operational readiness.
• →Assist with field exposure monitoring and industrial hygiene projects.
• →Participate in safety meetings and support site safety initiatives.
• →Identify unsafe conditions and communicate concerns to supervision.
• →Maintain compliance with company policies, MSHA requirements, and occupational health and safety standards.

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database management.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while working independently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience in mining, industrial hygiene, occupational health, safety, environmental health, or a related field.
• Familiarity with industrial hygiene sampling equipment and exposure monitoring.
• Experience with Cority or similar EHS management systems.
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations and occupational health best practices.

• Monday through Thursday
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Planned 6-month assignment

• Client site in the Elko, Nevada area
