JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: L-NP-60933-1 Profession: Nurse Practitioner Specialty: NP - Otolaryngology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Portland, OR 97225 Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Nov 02, 2026 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri (approx 4 days/week), 8:30am – 5:00pm Reason for Coverage: Vacancy - Maternity / Paternity Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Pediatric Average Daily Volume: 14 patients/day Case Mix: Pediatric ENT, Pediatric Urology FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Support Staff: RNs: 2, MAs: 2-3, PA/NPs: 2, Office Staff: 3 PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC or BE required Licenses: Licensed in OR DEA: Yes Certifications: BLS Experience: ENT experience required; Urology experience preferred Other Qualifications: Flexible endoscopy experience preferred; nasal cautery and foreign body removal experience preferred Duties & Responsibilities Provide outpatient clinic coverage for Pediatric ENT patients (2.5–3 days per week) Conduct post-operative visits for Pediatric Urology patients (0.5–1 day per week) Perform wound assessment and suture removal Evaluate tonsil, adenoid, and otitis media cases Perform flexible endoscopy, nasal cautery, and foreign body removal as needed
