We are seeking a dedicated and skilled dual qualified Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife to join our busy Emergency Department. We provide exceptional care for women presenting with problems occurring in early pregnancy, and the antenatal and postnatal periods. We also care for women with acute gynaecological problems and neonates up to 2 weeks of age. You will join a dedicated, collaborative and compassionate multi-disciplinary team that thrives on delivering patient-centered care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

You’re resilient, compassionate and committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care within a fast-paced emergency environment.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Current Nursing and Midwifery Registration with AHPRA (essential).
  • At least four years’ relevant experience as a Registered Midwife and Registered Nurse (essential).
  • Post graduate qualifications or relevant experience in triage, critical care and emergency settings (desirable).
  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
  • A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to patient care, with the ability to prioritise and work effectively within a team.
  • The ability to nurture positive, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • A commitment to professional development, quality improvement and achieving key performance indicators such as NEAT targets.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.

Join us and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives - and your career.
