Role Descriptions:

The Data Intelligence Manager is a key member of the Business Planning & Intelligence team, supporting the Senior Manager in strengthening trusted data foundations, integrated business intelligence, and fact-based decision-making across business performance, market intelligence, client intelligence, and data governance.

This role connects internal business results with external market signals, competitor movements, consumer trends, and data quality standards to generate decision-ready insights and actionable recommendations for business planning and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Governance & Quality: Support the Senior Manager in strengthening trusted data definitions, quality controls, governance standards, and compliance practices to enable reliable decision-making across the division.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Work closely with internal and external partners to maintain integrated data assets, extract and clean multi-source data, prepare analysis-ready datasets, and develop automated reporting frameworks to build a reliable “single source of truth”.
  • Market & Competitor Intelligence: Support market and competitor intelligence workstreams by connecting external signals with internal performance, identifying emerging risks and opportunities, and translating insights into planning implications and business recommendations.
  • Business Performance Analysis: Analyze business performance diagnosis across key metrics, channels, categories, and products, translating performance movements into root-cause understanding, forward-looking implications, and recommended business actions.
  • Client Performance Analysis: Leverage client data, customer tags, and journey analysis to better understand client profiles and behaviors, including acquisition, retention, repurchase, purchase frequency, basket size, tier migration, and high-value client performance.
  • Decision Enablement & Business Advisory: Support the Senior Manager in converting complex data and intelligence into decision-ready narratives, clear options, and actionable recommendations for business reviews, planning discussions, and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Reporting & Articulation: Support the Senior Manager in distilling analysis and intelligence findings into clear, stakeholder-ready narratives, highlighting key messages, business implications, and recommended actions in a concise and impactful way.

What you can bring to the team

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence or client intelligence within luxury, beauty, FMCG, or similar environments.
  • Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of commercial drivers, consumer behavior, and omni-channel business dynamics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous business questions, manage end-to-end analysis from problem framing to recommendation, and connect analytical findings to business implications and recommended actions.
  • Solid hands-on experience in data management, data quality control, KPI framework design, dashboard automation, and multi-source dataset analysis.
  • Ability to work with large, complex datasets across multiple sources (e.g., CRM, POS, traffic, product data)
  • Technology-savvy and comfortable working with data platforms, BI tools, CRM systems, and automation solutions; hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, Excel, or similar tools is preferred.
  • High level of accuracy, ownership, and attention to detail, with strong governance mindset
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional, regional/global, and external partner teams; able to provide clear updates, surface risks early, and bring proposed solutions rather than only escalating problems.
  • High emotional intelligence, resilience, and confidence, with the maturity to collaborate effectively across stakeholders, support a stable team environment, and own complex analysis independently from problem framing to business recommendation.
  • Confident in own analysis and recommendations, able to explain logic clearly, defend conclusions with data, and remain open, humble, and solution-oriented in communication.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
