As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute your technical expertise to the training and evaluation of next-generation artificial intelligence systems. Coding task development: Design realistic, challenging software engineering problems that evaluate AI systems across feature implementation, bug fixing, code refactoring, and performance optimization.

Reference solution development: Create accurate, efficient, and maintainable reference implementations that demonstrate sound engineering practices and meet defined technical requirements.

Automated verification: Develop deterministic verification mechanisms, validation scripts, and comprehensive test cases to assess solution correctness and distinguish acceptable implementations from incomplete or incorrect submissions.

Backend engineering: Apply expertise in backend systems, scalable services, API design, asynchronous processing, and distributed architectures to create practical engineering challenges.

Debugging and troubleshooting: Investigate complex defects, identify root causes, analyze performance bottlenecks, and design tasks that test effective problem-solving approaches.

Testing and quality assurance: Develop robust testing strategies, build and maintain comprehensive test suites, diagnose flaky tests, and improve software reliability through automated validation.

Significant professional experience in software engineering, particularly backend development and production-grade applications or services.

Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Python 3, Java, Rust, TypeScript, C++, Node.js, Go, or comparable technologies.

Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable services, APIs, and reliable backend systems.

Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, computer science fundamentals, system design, and software architecture.

Extensive practical experience debugging complex applications, conducting root-cause analysis, resolving defects, and optimizing performance.

Strong knowledge of automated testing, test design, regression testing, integration testing, unit testing, and software quality assurance.

Ability to identify edge cases, implementation errors, inefficient algorithms, architectural weaknesses, and potential reliability issues.

Proven experience with code reviews, refactoring, maintainable software design, and established engineering best practices.

Excellent analytical thinking, technical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex engineering challenges independently.

Strong written communication skills and the ability to translate technical requirements into clear, reproducible coding tasks and verification criteria.

Ability to work independently, exercise sound technical judgment, and consistently deliver high-quality results in a remote, contract-based environment.

Experience designing and maintaining large-scale test suites and automated testing frameworks.

Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), distributed systems, microservices, and architectural design patterns.

Experience diagnosing flaky tests and improving regression testing, integration testing, and unit testing processes.

Knowledge of deterministic evaluation frameworks, automated code verification, or AI coding agent assessment.

Experience modernizing legacy systems and improving production reliability, scalability, and performance.

A track record of establishing testing standards and improving engineering quality across development teams.

Previous AI industry experience is not mandatory. Candidates with strong software engineering fundamentals, excellent debugging skills, and sound technical judgment are encouraged to apply.
