Product ManagementProduct Manager

As a Principal Technical Product Manager, you will shape the strategy and evolution of critical infrastructure products supporting enterprise applications in highly regulated environments. You will own product direction, roadmaps, and business outcomes across private cloud, storage, and operating system management solutions. Working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and delivery teams, you will translate customer insights and business priorities into impactful product decisions. You will have the autonomy to determine what to build, prioritize investments, and drive launches that deliver measurable commercial value. The role requires strong technical expertise, sound business judgment, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple product areas. As a senior individual contributor, you will also mentor fellow product managers and help establish high standards for product strategy and execution. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on enterprise technology solutions in a fast-paced, customer-focused, and remote-friendly environment.

  • Product Strategy and Ownership: Own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and profit-and-loss (P&L) outcomes for assigned product families, including private cloud, storage, and operating system management solutions, from discovery and development through launch and adoption.
  • Roadmap Prioritization: Make decisive product investment decisions, determining which initiatives to pursue, defer, or discontinue. Clearly communicate priorities, trade-offs, and recommendations while adapting plans to customer feedback, market conditions, and business objectives.
  • Customer and Market Insights: Engage regularly with customers, partners, sales teams, and sales engineers to understand business needs, competitive positioning, pricing, and product performance. Translate qualitative feedback and quantitative data into clear problem statements and actionable product strategies.
  • Technical Product Leadership: Collaborate closely with engineering teams to define requirements, evaluate architectural trade-offs, resolve technical challenges, and deliver reliable infrastructure products that meet customer and business expectations.
  • Product Launch and Adoption: Drive predictable release cycles and successful product launches in partnership with engineering. Equip sales teams, sales engineers, and channel partners with the knowledge and resources needed to position, demonstrate, and sell new capabilities effectively.
  • Cross-Portfolio Strategy: Identify opportunities to combine infrastructure, cloud, and application-hosting capabilities into integrated solutions that create additional customer value and unlock new revenue opportunities.
  • Business Performance Management: Establish measurable success criteria and track outcomes such as bookings, net revenue retention, and EBITDA margin. Use performance data to refine product strategy and demonstrate the business impact of roadmap decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align product leadership, engineering, delivery, sales, and marketing around strategic priorities, launch plans, dependencies, and execution expectations.
  • Execution and Decision-Making: Maintain delivery momentum by removing blockers, making reversible decisions quickly, and escalating strategic decisions rather than unresolved problems. Balance urgency with thoughtful evaluation when decisions have significant long-term consequences.
  • Product Communication and Documentation: Produce clear, concise roadmaps, requirements documents, launch plans, and executive updates tailored to technical, commercial, and customer audiences.
  • Mentorship and Product Excellence: Raise the standard of product management practices across the organization by sharing expertise, mentoring fellow product managers, and establishing strong examples of strategic thinking, documentation, and execution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Use customer feedback, competitive intelligence, emerging technologies, and AI-powered tools to accelerate research, analysis, prototyping, and product development while continuously improving decision quality and team effectiveness.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical understanding of infrastructure technologies, including virtualization, storage, networking, platform APIs, or related systems. An engineering or sales engineering background is an advantage.
  • End-to-End Product Delivery: Demonstrated experience taking at least one product from initial concept through launch, with a history of delivering releases at a consistent, ambitious pace.
