Business Technology Associate

Metyis is growing! We are looking for a Business Technology Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join our Delivery Excellence team at our Digital Campus in Porto.

The HUGO BOSS Digital Campus employees will help create a state-of-the-art data architecture infrastructure, advanced business analytics, and the development and enhancement of HUGO BOSS’ eCommerce platform and services.

  Support technology transformation and implementation of the Planning Tools, by executing and partially coordinating end-to-end business testing across all project phases to deliver reliable, user-ready solutions:

• →

  Take over test execution across all implementation phases, including sprint testing, SIT, UAT, handshake testing between workstreams, roll-out validation, regression testing and re-testing after defect fixes. 

• →

  Take over test execution for ongoing enhancements and bugfixes during live usage. 

• →

  Support the test manager in aligning test scope, preparing test data, test cases, defect handling, and test coordination. 

• →

  Support and guide business testers and junior test resources, and promote consistent standards for test evidence and defect reporting. 

• →

  Participate in workshops, sprint reviews, and project meetings , helping to ensure alignment across business, technology, and implementation teams.

  Proactively communicate status, issues, decisions, and required follow-up actions. 

• →

  Roll-out and user support  

• →

  Support training preparation, documentation, and user onboarding.  

• →

  Take over first-level functional support during hyper care and live usage. 

• →

  Support creation and maintenance of user-friendly training materials and configuration documentation from a business perspective. 

• →

  Support initial set up and maintenance of the tools 

• →

  Support Business Managers on selected tasks where needed 

• →

  Follow selected functional requirements from clarification through implementation, validation, business sign-off, documentation, and communication.

  Support on project management tasks 

• →

  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Management, Supply Chain, or a related field. 

• →

  Relevant experience in business testing, test coordination, business analysis, technology consulting and implementation, or a comparable project role. 

• →

  Hands-on experience preparing and executing test cases, supporting UAT and regression testing, documenting evidence, and tracking defects through closure. 

• →

  Very strong attention to detail, structured working style, and a high level of accuracy in testing and documentation. 

• →

  Ability to organize test activities, monitor progress, and proactively address risks or capacity gaps. 

• →

  Ability to understand business processes and technology solutions quickly and translate selected business needs into clear, actionable functional requirements. 

• →

  Confidence working with business users, Business Managers, IT teams, and external implementation partners. 

• →

  Strong collaboration skills, including proactive communication in remote and cross-functional teams. 

• →

  Experience creating clear training materials, process documentation, presentations, status updates, and user-support content. 

• →

  Experience with Azure DevOps or similar test-management and defect-tracking tools. 

• →

  Very good Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with strong skills in data analysis, creating presentations, and translating complex information into clear, compelling materials.

  Professional proficiency in English. 

• →

  A proactive, reliable, and service-oriented mindset, with the flexibility to work across parallel implementation phases and changing tasks and priorities. 

• →

  Willingness to travel based on project, training, and roll-out requirements.

• →

  Experience or knowledge of Supply Chain Planning concepts and processes, namely integrated planning, demand planning, merchandise planning, supply chain planning, or related business processes would be a plus.

  Exposure to planning platforms such as o9 Solutions or comparable enterprise planning tools is a plus. 

• →

  Experience in fashion, retail, or another complex international business environment preferred but not required.

• →

  Experience supporting system training, international roll-outs, hyper care, or continuous-improvement activities is a plus.

  Experience coaching junior testers or coordinating external test-support resources would be beneficial.
