Student Nurse Extern

• →Basic Patient Care: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, feeding, toileting, and ambulating patients 

• →Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation 

• →Assisting with Procedures: Support nurses during procedures by preparing supplies, positioning patients, or providing comfort care 

• →Communication: Interact with patients and families to provide reassurance and relay information to the care team
• →Learning Opportunities: Observe and learn clinical skills, nursing judgment, and hospital workflows under the guidance of a preceptor 

• Successfully completed the first semester of a nursing program
• Must be in good and academic standing
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) and maintain current
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), preferred
