Data Center Logistics Specialist I

Perform advanced logistics and warehouse operations within a data center environment, with a primary focus on shipping and receiving, inventory control, auditing, asset management, and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for the accurate movement, storage, tracking, and documentation of hardware and equipment while utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS), material handling equipment (MHE), and forklift operations to support business objectives.

• Manage high-volume shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Perform cycle counts, physical inventory audits, reconciliations, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, store, and stage materials.
• Maintain inventory records, asset tracking systems, and warehouse management systems with a high degree of accuracy.
• Conduct inventory investigations and resolve discrepancies through detailed auditing and root cause analysis.
• Receive, inspect, label, tag, and document hardware, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate material movement and staging to support operational and installation requirements.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures, inventory controls, and company policies.
• Prepare and package shipments, create shipping documentation, and coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries.
• Support asset management activities, including tracking, transfers, decommissioning, and disposition of equipment.
• Maintain organized warehouse locations and storage areas to maximize efficiency and inventory visibility.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to prevent shortages.
• Utilize warehouse management systems, scanners, and inventory tools to process transactions and maintain data integrity.
• Follow all safety protocols, including forklift operation standards, material handling procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits, compliance requirements, and operational reporting.

• Extensive experience in shipping and receiving operations.
• Strong background in inventory control, cycle counting, and auditing.
• Previous forklift certification and hands-on forklift operating experience.
• Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
• Proven ability to manage inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution center, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
