JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certification required Licenses: Active KY License or willingness to obtain DEA: Active DEA certification required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice history preferred; availability at time of name clear Duties & Responsibilities First assist in cardiothoracic surgeries including CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/lung resections Perform vein harvest and chest tube placement Manage telemetry and ICU patients Take night call (7p-7a) and weekend 24-hour call duties Conduct inpatient rounds and surgical procedures during weekend coverage
