Freight Handler (Loader) - Spanish Bilingual

We are looking for an experienced Freight Handler (Loader) to join our warehouse team!

The Freight Handler is responsible for assisting with overall warehouse operations, including but not limited to loading, unloading, and stacking products to/from pallets, floor, or racks. As well as other duties assigned by Warehouse Operations Management.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
• Sort cargo before loading and unloading.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Load, unload, and stack merchandise onto or from pallets, floor, or racks by hand.
• Separate merchandise for shipment to warehouse location or according to management’s instructions.
• Maintain integrity of products through proper handling.
• Apply shrink-wrap to pallets of merchandise.
• Transport merchandise directly to shipping as required.
• Follow company policies and procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years’ experience required in a similar role in the warehouse environment.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jack.
• Ability to lift weights of up to 75 lbs
