Minimum 3 consecutive days of coverage. PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults and pediatrics (OB/GYN), including underserved patients Average Daily Volume: 6 patients per day Admissions: 1-2 Rounding: Both Phone Consults: 7-10 Case Mix: OB/GYN – low‑risk and high‑risk pregnancies, GYN emergencies, surgical gynecology FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Cerner Support Staff: RNs: 5 PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No Temporary Privileges Available: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required: Low risk pregnancy High risk pregnancy FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE OB Ultrasounds (Performance of, interpretation) (Level I/Screening (viability), Level II/Targeted (anatomic)) Amniocentesis Routine delivery Vaginal Low forceps Decision-making for c-section Complicated delivery C-section Breech Multiple births Abruptions VBAC's Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Surgical gynecology (Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's) JOB REQUIREMENTS Board Certified AL License or Universal License (IMLC) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS OB‑GYN experience required; robotic GYN surgery experience preferred Duties & Responsibilities Provide 24‑hour call coverage for OB‑GYN, including rounding on admitted patients during the day Accept attached and ER patients during shift, including GYN emergencies and underserved patients Perform routine deliveries, complicated deliveries, C‑sections, and surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, operative) Interpret fetal heart rate tracings (NST/CST/FSE) and perform/target OB ultrasounds Collaborate with Family Medicine residents on night float for required ACGME delivery experiences
