About the Role
~1 min readOwn the product definition, strategy and roadmap for KitchenOS tools that support R&D Team, Brand Managers, and Kitchen Operators; from recipe development and menu building to production and inventory workflows. Turn operator insights and operational data into clear priorities and requirements. Lead the product lifecycle from discovery through QA, rollout and iteration, while coordinating delivery across the KitchenOS roadmap. Optimize for user effectiveness, workflow reliability and seamless launches.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Own the operator-facing product roadmap: define and prioritize KitchenOS tools for brand managers and kitchen teams, using field research, operational data, and business impact.
- →Make brand and menu launches effortless: build workflows that turn new concepts and menu changes into launch-ready experiences, keeping what customers order aligned with what kitchens prepare.
- →Simplify daily kitchen operations: turn complex prep, receiving, and inventory processes into clear, intuitive workflows that help teams run consistently across sites.
- →Turn intelligence into useful action: partner with engineering and data science to translate forecasts, recommendations, and operational signals into tools operators can trust and act on.
- →Build quality into everyday execution: make current recipes, instructions, and quality checks accessible at the point of work, helping teams adopt changes quickly and execute reliably.
- →Keep the KitchenOS roadmap moving: coordinate milestones and dependencies across product, engineering, data science, and operations. Surface risks early and resolve trade-offs before they become blockers.
- →Lead delivery and rollout: write clear requirements, test in real kitchens, and own launch readiness—from QA and field pilots to documentation, training, and iteration.
- →Drive cross-functional decisions and results: align culinary, brand, operations, and technical teams around measurable outcomes. Use adoption, operator effectiveness, launch speed, and execution quality to guide priorities.
- Extreme curiosity about how to revolutionize food production is a must. You question how kitchens work today and are eager to discover how software, automation, and better workflows can change what’s possible.
- AI-powered prototyping is second nature—and non-negotiable. You rapidly build prototypes and MVPs with AI tools to test concepts with real users, challenge assumptions, and turn what you learn into better products.
- 5–8 years of experience, including 4+ years as a product manager owning B2B or operational products end to end. You've built tools for frontline teams (kitchen, warehouse, field, or retail floor) and taken them from discovery through launch. Food, restaurant tech, logistics, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
- A track record of turning ambiguity into shipped products. You translate complex operational problems into intuitive solutions with measurable results.
- Strong systems thinking. You understand how changes to recipes, menus, inventory, and production ripple through a connected operation—and can make that complexity simple for users.
- A hands-on, field-oriented approach. You’re comfortable spending time in kitchens, observing real workflows, and translating operator feedback and data into product decisions.
- An interest in learning and development. You see onboarding, training, and in-workflow guidance as part of the product experience, not an afterthought.
- Crisp written and verbal communication. You write clear requirements, explain trade-offs, and align culinary, operations, engineering, and data science teams.
