The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, safety, inventory control, and operational execution of warehouse activities supporting the Pelzer manufacturing campus.
This position provides direct frontline leadership to warehouse associates and ensures materials are safely and accurately received, stored, picked, staged, transacted, and delivered in support of production and customer shipment requirements.
Depending on assigned area, the Supervisor may have responsibility for Receiving, Production Picking, Ship Loose, Site Escalations, Sub-Assembly support, Inventory Control, Finished Goods, or other warehouse/material-flow activities across Pelzer P1, P2, and P3.
The Warehouse Supervisor must be a hands-on leader capable of operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining strong standards around safety, inventory accuracy, transactional discipline, productivity, quality, and employee accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily leadership and direction to warehouse associates across assigned warehouse functions and shifts.
- Plan and allocate manpower based on production priorities, inbound requirements, Ship Loose demand, customer shipments, and daily operational needs.
- Ensure material is received, put away, picked, staged, and delivered accurately and on time to support the production schedule.
- Maintain strong operational control of Ship Loose material, including picking, staging, consolidation, identification, packaging coordination, and readiness for shipment.
- Ensure physical material movements are supported by accurate and timely Oracle transactions.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through location control, cycle counting, transaction discipline, material reconciliation, and investigation of discrepancies.
- Ensure Finished Goods and Ship Loose material are appropriately controlled and aligned to the correct production and customer shipment requirements.
- Support WON closure and shipment readiness by ensuring required warehouse activities and material transactions are completed accurately.
- Coordinate daily material priorities and escalations with Production, Planning, Materials, Quality, Logistics, and other supporting functions.
- Identify material shortages, missing parts, incorrect quantities, inventory discrepancies, and other constraints and drive timely resolution.
- Establish daily work priorities through Tier meetings, shift-start meetings, and direct floor leadership.
- Monitor warehouse productivity and ensure labor resources are appropriately aligned with operational demand.
- Manage employee attendance, performance, training, development, and adherence to established policies and standard work.
- Cross-train employees to increase flexibility and ensure appropriate operational coverage.
- Maintain a visible leadership presence on the warehouse floor and hold employees accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and process compliance.
- Enforce all EHS requirements, including forklift safety, pedestrian safety, dock operations, PPE, housekeeping, and safe material handling.
- Support incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
- Support cycle counts, inventory audits, annual Physical Inventory, and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Drive 5S, warehouse organization, space utilization, and continuous improvement activities.
- Monitor operational performance and escalate risks that could impact production, inventory accuracy, shipment execution, or customer commitments.
- Support overtime, weekend, and alternative shift requirements based on production and business needs.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by Warehouse and Materials leadership.

- Work collaboratively across P1, P2, and P3 as one Pelzer Materials and Warehouse organization.
- Adapt quickly as production priorities and customer requirements change.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse, materials, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing experience.
