JOB SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the Supervisor or Site Manager, the Sanitation Associate is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the warehouse, equipment, and work areas in a safe and efficient manner, at the direction of the Supervisor and/or Operations Management. The position helps maintain a clean, safe, and compliant facility by following sanitation procedures and safety guidelines.

Location-Eastvale, Ca

Shift-1st shift, 5:00am-3:30pm. Two schedules available: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday

Pay- $17.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Clean and sanitize warehouse floors, docks, restrooms, break rooms, and work areas according to the sanitation schedule and SOP

· Clean and sanitize equipment and surfaces using approved chemicals and tools

· Safely handle, mix, and store cleaning chemicals according to labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

· Remove trash, cardboard, and debris, and keep aisles and walkways clear

· Use cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, hoses, brooms, and mops

· Complete sanitation checklists and documentation, and report hazards, spills, or damaged equipment to the Supervisor

· Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety and lockout/tagout procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

· Previous sanitation, janitorial, or warehouse experience preferred

· Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work

· The ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs

· Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays AND work overtime, without advanced notice

· Required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check

· Reliable transportation to and from work

· Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet or slippery surfaces, cleaning chemicals, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration.
