As a Senior .NET Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality web applications and scalable software solutions. You will leverage your expertise in C#, .NET Core, and Web API development to transform business requirements into reliable, efficient, and maintainable applications. Analyze project requirements, assess technical feasibility, and translate business needs into effective software solutions.

Recommend appropriate technical approaches, architectures, and implementation strategies to meet functional and non-functional requirements.

Design, develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using C#, .NET Core, and Web API technologies.

Contribute to full-stack development activities, integrating backend services with modern frontend technologies where required.

Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, including schema design, query development, and performance tuning.

Use Microsoft Enterprise Library and related components to support data access layers, logging, dependency management, and other application infrastructure requirements.

Integrate third-party and vendor APIs, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient communication between systems.

Develop and maintain unit, integration, subsystem, and system-level test cases to ensure application stability and reliability.

Validate implemented features against project requirements, identify defects, and implement appropriate corrective measures.

Apply software engineering best practices to deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines and project standards.

Contribute to continuous integration and delivery workflows, including test-driven development (TDD), behavior-driven development (BDD), and automated CI/CD pipelines.

Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure to support application development, deployment, and operational requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges, improve development processes, and maintain consistent code quality.

Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and mentoring of junior and peer developers, encouraging knowledge sharing and technical growth.

Stay current with modern web development frameworks, tools, and engineering practices to continuously improve application delivery.

Requirements

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, such as BE, B.Tech, MCA, ME, or M.Tech.

At least 9 years of relevant software development experience, with strong expertise in modern web application development and full-stack engineering.

Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Web API development.

Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and backend services.

Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including database schema design, SQL query writing, query optimization, and performance tuning.

Proficiency with Microsoft Enterprise Library or equivalent application infrastructure components for data access, logging, and dependency management.

Experience integrating third-party or vendor APIs and troubleshooting system-to-system communication issues.

Exposure to modern frontend development technologies, including Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.

Understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, subsystem, and system testing.

Familiarity with continuous delivery and software quality practices, including TDD, BDD, and Azure CI/CD Pipelines.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure is preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Demonstrated ownership, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering reliable, maintainable software within deadlines.

Experience mentoring developers, sharing technical knowledge, and contributing to team development is an advantage.
