New York Institute of Technology's Jonesboro, Arkansas campus is seeking an individual for the role of Anatomy Lab Manager. This individual in this position ensures seamless operation of day-to-day activities in the anatomy lab. The Anatomy Lab Manager will report directly to the chairperson of the Department of Biomedical and Anatomical Sciences. This position is eligible for a hybrid/remote work arrangement, with flexibility to work remotely and onsite in accordance with New York Tech’s remote work policy.

• → Oversee all cleaning and maintenance needs in the laboratory space to ensure compliance with NYIT and ASU Laboratories.
• → Maintain anatomy lab, including cleaning of laboratory space and equipment.
• → Establish and supervise the Anatomical Gift Program. Meet with potential donors and families of donors for the Anatomical Gift Program.
• → Maintain human anatomical specimens (cadavers).
• → Create and maintain inventories of all lab supplies and ensure timely reordering.
• → Maintain all cadaver records.
• → Communicate routinely with campus biosafety officer to ensure lab compliance with all safety regulations.
• → Coordinate and oversee community outreach activities involving the lab.
• → Assist faculty with oversight of lab sessions.
• → Perform formaldehyde safety training and monitoring to ensure regulatory compliance.
• → Oversee and maintain student attendance records for anatomy courses.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Biological Sciences or Mortuary Science.
• Experience working with cadavers.
