Manufacturing Execution & Systems Eng

We are looking for a strong operational leader to lead our Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Technical Documentation, and Operational Excellence team. In this role, you will own the connection between manufacturing systems, production execution, and technical documentation while leading a multidisciplinary team responsible for process execution, system improvements, technical writing, data integrity, and operational excellence initiatives ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities * Lead and develop a team responsible for MES processes, operational excellence initiatives, reporting, and manufacturing systems support. * Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of manufacturing process improvements across MES, including workflows, routings, and Final Integration Procedures (FIP). * Set priorities, allocate resources, and ensure successful execution of team objectives and cross-functional projects. * Drive resolution of complex operational and system-related issues by leading structured root-cause analysis and corrective actions. * Identify manufacturing and business process gaps and lead improvement initiatives across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and IT. * Ensure data integrity and process compliance across SAP, MES, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and related manufacturing systems. * Lead the development of dashboards, KPIs, and analytical tools in Power BI / Tableau to support operational decision-making. * Drive adoption of AI and automation solutions (Copilot, Claude, and other tools) to improve productivity and efficiency. * Serve as the primary interface with global system teams in India and the US, managing priorities, escalations, and strategic initiatives. * Report progress, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and drive alignment on key decisions. * Build a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the team. * Lead the Technical Writing function across Operations, ensuring timely creation, maintenance, and release of manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and process documentation. * Develop and manage KPIs, dashboards, and analytics to monitor documentation performance, identify bottlenecks, measure cycle times, and drive continuous improvement in technical content delivery and operational readiness. * Drive standardization and governance of manufacturing documentation processes, ensuring alignment between Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Manufacturing Systems. ________________________________________ Qualifications Required * Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Information Systems, or a related technical field. * Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, production engineering, manufacturing systems, or operational excellence. * Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change. * Strong knowledge of MES and enterprise systems (ERP / PLM). * Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent analytics platforms. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project leadership skills. * Fluent English, both written and verbal.
