• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend services using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with AI Engineers to integrate LLM-powered solutions and AI agents into EPOS’s existing systems and business workflows.
• Develop APIs, backend components, and integration logic to connect AI services with internal systems, databases, and business applications.
• Build and enhance AI agent workflows, including tool calling and multi-step execution, where required.
• Ensure the performance, reliability, security, and scalability of AI-integrated backend services in production.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, and maintain high standards of code quality and system maintainability.
• Contribute to system architecture, code reviews, and technical improvements while mentoring junior engineers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in Java backend development, with strong proficiency in Java, Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, JUnit, etc), RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Solid experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-based application development.
• Solid understanding of system design, API integration, distributed systems, and production-grade software development.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs, AI services, or AI agents into applications or backend systems.
• Familiarity with AI agent workflows, tool/function calling, and LLM orchestration frameworks is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Good English communication is mandatory.
