This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Revenue Cycle Analyst based in the United States.

This is an opportunity for an analytical, results-oriented professional to improve financial performance and strengthen revenue cycle operations within the healthcare industry. In this role, you will combine hands-on accounts receivable oversight with data analysis to accelerate cash collection, reduce outstanding balances, and identify opportunities for operational improvement. You will work closely with revenue cycle leaders, operations teams, automation specialists, and healthcare clients to uncover performance gaps and develop practical, data-driven solutions. By analyzing payer trends, denial patterns, and aging accounts, you will help prioritize high-impact activities and improve reimbursement outcomes. You will also contribute to automation initiatives and workflow enhancements that reduce manual effort and increase productivity. This remote position offers the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful projects, collaborate across functions, and deliver measurable improvements in financial performance and client service.

  • Manage accounts receivable performance: Analyze and oversee assigned accounts receivable portfolios, including payer follow-up, denial categories, aging balances, and high-risk accounts.

  • Identify root causes: Investigate delays in account resolution, including authorization issues, medical necessity concerns, billing defects, and failures in earlier revenue cycle processes.

  • Optimize account resolution: Monitor account inventory movement and work with operations teams to prioritize work queues based on financial exposure, aging thresholds, payer behavior, and potential recovery.

  • Maintain documentation quality: Ensure account records are accurate and complete to support appeals, escalations, follow-up activities, and downstream resolution.

  • Develop analytical reporting: Create, maintain, and interpret dashboards and reports covering accounts receivable aging, payer groups, financial classes, and denial categories.

  • Identify emerging risks: Analyze trends and performance patterns to detect aging thresholds, increases in denials, and other issues that may affect cash flow or reimbursement.

  • Deliver actionable insights: Quantify the financial impact of operational issues and provide clear, data-driven recommendations to leadership during monthly and ad hoc performance reviews.

  • Support automation initiatives: Identify opportunities to reduce manual work through automation and workflow redesign, collaborating with automation specialists and Epic teams to implement improvements.

  • Measure operational impact: Track the results of new automations and process changes, evaluating their effects on cash acceleration, accounts receivable aging, and team productivity.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement: Support the development of standard operating procedures and initiatives designed to improve consistency, efficiency, and performance.

  • Collaborate across teams: Serve as a liaison between accounts receivable operations, analytics, automation, client leadership, denial prevention, audit and appeals, and revenue integrity teams.

  • Support client relationships: Provide analytical insights for client discussions and escalations, proactively communicate emerging risks, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Explore innovative approaches: Use curiosity and an openness to AI and emerging technologies to identify better ways of working and improve patient and client experiences.
