Our client is a fast-growing SaaS company that provides an AI-powered scheduling and lead conversion platform for high-ticket sales teams. The platform helps coaches, agencies, creators, and SaaS companies capture more leads, qualify and route them to the right sales reps, reduce no-shows, and track revenue across their sales funnel. It is used by thousands of sales funnels and integrates with CRMs, ad platforms, and messaging tools.

The company is at an important stage in its growth. It is moving to a more formal corporate structure, which requires formal financial processes and controls. Financial tasks such as payroll and commission calculations are currently spread across company leadership, and a recent wave of sales team hiring has added to the complexity. The company is hiring an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of its financial operations and build the structure needed for its next stage of growth.

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, and to build formal financial operations for a growing SaaS company.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will work closely with the CEO and the company's external CPA firm to keep the books accurate, produce reliable financial reports, and support strong financial decisions. They will also oversee U.S. financial operations, including banking setup, and take ownership of financial tasks currently handled informally by leadership, such as payroll coordination and commission calculations.

The role begins part-time at 20 hours per week for a 6-month ramp-up period, then moves to full-time. The ideal candidate is a U.S.-based, hands-on finance professional with 5–8 years of experience, a strong accounting background, solid knowledge of U.S. financial operations, and ideally a background in SaaS.

  • Give the CEO clear insights to support planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Oversee bookkeeping and month-end close processes.
  • Track key SaaS metrics, such as recurring revenue, churn, and customer acquisition cost.
  • Keep financial records accurate, organized, and audit-ready.
  • Work directly with the company's external CPA firm on tax filings, compliance, and year-end reporting.
  • Manage U.S. financial operations in line with U.S. accounting and tax requirements.
  • Handle banking setup and manage banking relationships.
  • Support the financial and accounting work needed for the company's move to a more formal corporate structure.
  • Take over payroll coordination and make sure payroll runs accurately and on time.
  • Formalize and own the process for calculating and paying sales commissions.
  • Manage contractor and employee payments through Deel.
  • Work with the HR Manager to keep payroll, compensation, and HR records consistent across BambooHR, Deel, and Upstaff.
  • Build formal financial policies, processes, and internal controls.
  • Set up approval processes for spending, expenses, and vendor payments.
  • Identify ways to improve financial efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Bring an external perspective to review existing financial processes and recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management.
  • Strong accounting background, with a solid understanding of U.S. accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Knowledge of U.S. financial operations, including banking, tax, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with external CPA firms.
  • Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Experience managing payroll and calculating commissions or variable pay.
  • Experience with banking setup and managing banking relationships.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for financial modeling and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and bring structure to informal processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Confidence working directly with the CEO and other executives.
  • Based in the United States.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated remote workspace.
  • Availability to work 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, for the first 6 months, then full-time.
  • Experience in SaaS or technology companies, including SaaS metrics and subscription revenue.
  • CPA or similar accounting certification.
  • Experience supporting a company through a change in corporate structure.
  • Experience managing finances for distributed, international teams.
  • Experience with BambooHR, Deel, or Upstaff.
  • Experience designing sales commission plans.

Candidates should be comfortable working with or quickly learning:

  • BambooHR
  • Deel
  • Upstaff
  • Accounting software (such as QuickBooks or Xero)
  • Online banking and payment platforms
  • Excel / Google Sheets
  • Google Workspace / Microsoft Office
  • Slack and other team communication tools
  • The opportunity to build a company's finance function from the ground up.
  • Direct reporting to the CEO, with real influence over the company's financial strategy.
  • A structured 6-month part-time ramp-up before moving to full-time.
  • Exposure to a fast-growing SaaS company during an important stage of growth.
  • A long-term, fully remote position.

The ideal candidate is an experienced, hands-on finance professional who enjoys turning informal financial processes into clear, reliable systems.

They have a strong accounting background and understand how U.S. financial operations work, from banking setup to working with a CPA firm on taxes and compliance. They are just as comfortable building a forecast for the CEO as they are making sure payroll and commissions are calculated correctly.

They bring structure, accuracy, and an outside perspective to a growing company. Most importantly, they are dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to build a finance function that supports the company's growth for years to come.

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Quality and reliability of budgets and forecasts.
  • Smooth collaboration with the CPA firm and on-time tax and compliance filings.
  • Successful banking setup and well-managed banking relationships.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of payroll and commission payments.
  • Formal financial policies, processes, and controls put in place.
  • Reduced time leadership spends on financial tasks.
  • Clear financial insights that support the CEO's decisions.
