Marketing & Design Assistant

Join our dynamic team and help power the marketing initiatives that elevate our brand and engage our clients. Hodgson Russ LLP, a regional law firm with 230+ attorneys in 10 offices, is seeking a Marketing & Design Assistant to join our busy Marketing and Business Development team, resident in the Buffalo office. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential support across our marketing and design functions and helping to execute tasks, events, and campaigns developed by our marketing leadership. You will work closely with the team to handle day-to-day execution of marketing tasks and projects.

Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support the marketing team with administrative tasks associated with the team's strategies and initiatives.
• Facilitate communications between the marketing team and other departments.
• Actively collect, input, and maintain the incoming marketing requests in the project management software.
• Assist in the coordination of client entertainment and events, e.g., logistics, production, materials, and day-of-event tasks and activities.
• Update the firm's website and intranet content as needed, and assist in email marketing campaigns and social media posting.
• Design and produce collateral, brochures, advertisements, and other materials for print or digital production.
• Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures.

The right candidate will have a client service mindset focused on creating the best experiences for our internal clients. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, the ability to manage tasks and deadlines, a proactive approach to identifying and anticipating needs, and a commitment to delivering excellence. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications preferred, with two years’ experience working in a marketing support capacity.  

Hodgson Russ offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package, including medical, dental, vision, life, long term disability, flexible spending, 401(k), Paid Time Off, pension plan, and more. The good faith estimate of the annual salary range for this position, if the successful applicant is based in Buffalo is $49,237.50 to $60,450. Where a successful applicant is slotted within this range will vary based on legitimate criteria, such as experience and skill level.
