• Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Fluent in English and French, both written and verbal
• Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required site clearances
• Must have continuously resided in Canada for the past five (5) years
• Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
• Ability to travel between multiple assigned locations
• Reliable transportation is strongly preferred due to the nature of the Rover position

• Previous security guard experience
• Experience working at multiple security sites
• Experience with mobile patrols or rover security assignments
• Strong access control and surveillance skills
• Experience preparing incident and occurrence reports
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different sites and environments
• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic computer and report-writing skills

Allied Universal is currently seeking a professional, reliable, and flexible Bilingual Security Professional to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The successful candidate must be comfortable travelling between assigned locations, covering open posts, responding to staffing needs, and following site-specific procedures and post orders.

Strong communication skills in both English and French, excellent customer service, reliability, and the ability to work independently are essential for this position.

• →Provide security coverage at various assigned client locations
• →Travel between different sites as required to support operational needs
• →Fill vacant security posts and provide relief coverage
• →Conduct regular patrols and security inspections
• →Monitor access points and verify employee, visitor, and contractor credentials
• →Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies
• →Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security concerns
• →Complete accurate occurrence and incident reports
• →Follow site-specific post orders, procedures, and client requirements
• →Maintain a professional and visible security presence
• →Provide professional customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors
• →Communicate effectively with supervisors, site management, and emergency services when required
• →Remain flexible and prepared to work at different locations based on operational requirements
• →Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
