Heat Treat Technician

The position is responsible for providing day-to-day support, including training operators to meet ISO, customer, and company standards. The role involves generating reports such as QTRs, and recording key production metrics including scrap, downtime, and output. Additionally, the position includes troubleshooting machine issues, participating in company-wide training and initiatives (e.g., 5S, Kaizen), and supporting operators to ensure production goals, delivery timelines, and quality standards are met.

• →Lead and support operators in addressing technical issues and challenges.
• →Train operators to ensure compliance with production specifications and quality standards.
• →Perform changeovers, tool changes and assist in troubleshooting machine and operational issues.
• →Gather and provide accurate production data to management for analysis and decision-making.
• →Assist in conducting physical inventories and ensure accuracy of stock levels.
• →Complete and maintain all required documentation, including production logs and reports.
• →Participate in company initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement activities.
• →Inspect & repair parts in sort area as required.
• →Perform other duties as assigned to support overall production and operational needs.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Must be willing to work outside of schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proficiency using micrometers, calipers and other measuring tools
• Must have previous experience as a Machine Operator

• Basic computer skills.
