Window & Door Specialist

Eikenhout is a Michigan based distributor of exterior building products. We have been serving Michigan contractors for more than 125 years.

We are currently looking for a Window and Door Specialist. This position is responsible for working with local contractors and homeowner on all window and door projects. They will work closely throughout the design and order process to ensure complete customer satisfaction and resolve any warranty issues that come up.

Main Job Responsibilities

• interpreting blueprints and completing takeoffs
• supporting Outside Sales with project quotes and pricing
• providing bids to contractors
• determining customers' needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions.
• offering advice on best products for the customers' needs
• arranging for ordering and delivering product
• follow order throughout the process to ensure satisfied customers
• working closely with vendors/suppliers
• managing purchase order processes 

Job Requirements

• experience in the residential construction industry is helpful.
• passion for customer service
• excellent communication skills
• thrives in fast paced environment.
• strong time management and organizational skills
• computer skills (Microsoft Office)
