What we are looking for:

A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
Access to reliable transportation.
At least 1 year of prior caregiving experience
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required; additional languages are a plus
Eligibility to legally work in Canada is necessary for this position
A valid driver’s license is a plus
CPR Certification is required
First Aid Certification is required
Health Care Assistant or Care Aid is required
Covid Vaccination Proof is required
Current TB screening and a Criminal Record Check are required

What you will be doing:

Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
Provide assistance with personal care.
Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
Help clients with their activities of daily living: personal care, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, transportation, etc..
Properly manage household needs.
Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
Maintain accurate records and documentation using ComForCare online application.
Exhibit professionalism while representing ComForCare culture.
