Our growing neonatal practice is seeking an experienced, Board-Certified Neonatologist to serve as Medical Director and lead an outstanding NICU team at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. If you are a collaborative physician leader with a passion for providing exceptional neonatal care, this is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a thriving NICU program while making a meaningful difference in the lives of infants and families. We are seeking a physician leader who:

→Is Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
→Has a passion for clinical excellence and team development
→Enjoys mentoring and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
→Is committed to advancing quality, patient safety, and family-centered care
→Brings strong leadership experience and a vision for continued program growth

Practice Highlights

→The Forsyth Winston Salem practice is a Level III NICU providing comprehensive critical care services for the region's most vulnerable newborns
→More than 750 NICU admissions annually with an average daily census (ADC) exceeding 32 infants
→Approximately 4,500 deliveries annually
→Dedicated neonatal transport team
→Advanced NICU services include:
- →Bubble CPAP
- →High-frequency ventilation
- →Inhaled nitric oxide therapy
- →Therapeutic hypothermia (cooling)
- →Dedicated neonatal transport team
- →Family-centered care model
→Call-from-home physician schedule
→24/7 in-house Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) coverage
