M60 is a dynamic, fast-paced Med/Surg Telemetry Stepdown unit within Cleveland Clinic’s Digestive Disease Institute, where surgeons perform more than 5,000 procedures annually. The unit provides specialized care to a diverse and complex surgical patient population, including patients undergoing chemotherapy administered directly into the abdomen, those requiring hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) care, and patients recovering from complex liver and gastrointestinal surgeries, including Whipple procedures. Working alongside a highly skilled surgical team, including 16 colorectal surgeons, the nursing staff also cares for patients with Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, colon cancer, and genetic bowel diseases. With a wide variety of patient conditions and procedures, M60 offers an engaging environment where no two days are the same.
